The Presidential AI Challenge is a new, nationwide competition launched by the White House to encourage K-12 students, educators, and community teams to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to solve real-world challenges in their communities. This initiative aims to promote AI literacy and innovation among young Americans, preparing them for an AI-assisted workforce and a future of technological advancement. Participants can either develop detailed proposals for AI solutions or build actual AI-powered tools and systems to address local problems.
Open to K-12 students, their educators, and community teams. Deadline: January 19, 2026. National champions will receive a $10,000 prize and other recognition
